Magnus followed the tracks of London’s jazz scene to explore the city, which has recently developed such a unique, young and creative jazz culture. In his pictures, Magnus captures the British metropolis from a musical point of view, a big-city-rhapsody in black and white that reveals completely new facets of the town and sets the stage: The traffic grooves around Trafalgar Square, the the Big Ben’s beat becomes perceptible while one can hear the muffled mix of jazz, funk and hip-hop from clubs and scene bars.
